1. The pleasure of work
i) People are called by God to their work
ii) People are filled with the Spirit of God for their work
iii) People express their calling through spirit led work through their skills and abilities
2. The calling of our work
i) Our work is a personal calling from God
ii) This calling fills mundane activities with spiritual significance
iii) This calling changes the focal point of ministry and worship
3. The faith to rest
i) There is more than one Sabbath rest
ii) Sabbath rest connects people to their Creator
iii) Sabbath rest reinforces God’s sanctifying power
v) Sabbath rest reminds people of what’s important and what’s valuable
4. The Gospel brings both rest and good works
i) Good works are a gracious gift from God
ii) Good works point us back to God in gratitude
iii) Every good work gives God the glory
iv) The Gospel makes pleasure and rest possible, only in Christ Jesus

Coming Events and Notes
There is still room in the RLBC Men’s retreat March 20-22. The theme for 2026 is "Called" with our theme verses being Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission. We are excited to learn more about what it means to be "Called".
Emmy Armstrong from Fort William Baptist will be organizing and leading a choir to sing at our Joint Good Friday Service on April 3rd at 4:00pm at The Summit Church. If you’re interested in joining the choir, there will be practices every Thursday evening from now until April 2nd, 6:00 to 7:30pm at Fort William. Contact Pastor for more information.
