1. Two words that tell us we have a need; a) Glory

i) We are all glory obsessed

ii) We live for created glories rather than the glory of the Creator

iii) And that never leads to inner fulfillment

2. Two words that tell us we have a need; b) Peace

i) We would have peace with God

ii) We would have peace within

iii) Shalom; all things are in their proper order

iv) We would have ‘peace’ with one another

3. The mission of the Messiah

i) He comes to address our stony hearts

ii) ii) He knew that my only hope would be His grace

iv) The cost of the mission; Christ’s death

Tues    Women’s Book Club 7pm (every 6 wks.)

Fri       Adventure Club is joining with Ft Wm’s Blast and will resume in the fall

Sat       Monthly Men’s Breakfast: Every second Saturday of the month at 8am.

Baptism next Sunday, if you’re considering following in obedience to Christ in baptism, please speak with Pastor or one of the Elders.

Joint Summer Evening Services This evening’s service will be at O’Connor Baptist Church. Duncan Adams will be speaking.

VBS is going to be August 17-20. If you have other questions or wish to volunteer, please see Katherine Lemieux.

Murillo Fair 2026 Our church will have a booth at the Murillo Fair, August 14 to 16.

There is a sign-up sheet for face painting, passing out VBS flyers, tracts etc., talking to people. Talk to Melesa or Jasmine.

Farewell open house for Pastor Anthony and Bonnie, August 30 1:00-4:00 Murillo Hall.
