Message Outline
1. The God Who Hears (cc1-6)
i) God begins to fulfill His promise to Abraham
ii) Exodus reminds us that a delay of deliverance is not
the absence of a loving God who cares for His people
2. The God Who Delivers (cc7-12)
i) God Demonstrates His divine power through the Ten Plagues
ii) Israel is delivered through the blood of the Passover lamb
iii) The Passover is a shadow of the greater Passover Lamb who delivers His people through His blood shed on the Cross
iv) Exodus reminds us that salvation is the work of God from beginning to end
3. The God Who Provides (cc13-18)
i) Newly freed slaves need to learn some things about their Deliverer
ii) Out of their grumbling God teaches them that He will sustain them
iii) God’s provision has a purpose: It teaches dependence on Him; freedom requires trust
4. The God Who Commands (cc19-24)
i) The commands don’t make Israel God’s people; they already are His people
ii) The commands lead us to what true life looks like when we live in covenant with a holy God
iii) God saves His people FOR something; that we might know Him, worship Him,
and reflect His beauty and glory in this sinful, lost, and broken world

Remember to pray for the Pastoral Search Team as they interview candidates for when Pastor Anthony retires.
Giving: You may give in person, e-transfer using treasurer@tbaytel.net, or drop your offering through the mail slot in the church door. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord’s work!
